Labeled for use in patients 17+y/o and older and for not longer than 7 days, this over the counter laxative is commonly used in pediatrics to treat constipation. For example our, at the time, 4 y/o son was placed on MiraLAX for nearly five (5) years. Being in the Facebook group Parent's Against MiraLAX and witnessing the growth of the group from 800 members in 2015 when I joined to now nearly 75,000 has incentivized me to create additional awareness by bringing this to the web.
